Electronic spectra of molecule WO. new electronic state 3Π

Abstract

The electron absorption spectrum of the molecule WO in the 550800 nm regions by intracavity laser spectroscopy.WO molecules were prepared by impact of a pulsed electric discharge through a mixture of vapor hexacarbonyl of tungsten. These spectra were recorded with a diffraction spectrograph (resolved power 240000). Bands in the 550800 nm region were assigned to the component of 3Π0-3Σ0 electronic transition 3Π-Σ+. The rotational analyses of these bans 0-0 and 1-0 were performed and the molecular constants of there ground X0+ and exited states 3Π0were determined.
