Quantification of hexamethylenediamide bis-(n-monocuccinyl-l-glutamyl-l-lysine) in the blood plasma by HPLC-MS

Abstract

The technique of quantitative determination of a new compound hexamethylenediamide bis-(N-monosuccinyl-L-glutamyl-L-lysine (GK-2) in the rat blood plasma was developed and validated. The method was linear in the range of 10–1000 ng/ml. Recovery of GK-2 was 81.62%. The low limit of quantification was determined as 10 ng/ml.
Key words: hexamethylenediamide bis-(N-monosuccinyl-L-glutamyl-L-lysine, blood plasma, HPLC-MS, quantification, Alzheimer’s disease.
