Some features of synthesis of polyamine hardeners based on bisphenol A

Abstract

The possibility of synthesizing aromatic polyamine epoxy resins curing agents based on adducts of interaction between 4,4´-dihydroxy-2,2-diphenylpropane (Bisphenol A), formaldehyde and N,N´-bis(2-aminoethyl)-1,2-ethanediaminein various solvents under various conditions was investigated. Investigation and comparison of synthesized curing agents physical properties were performed. Comparison of epoxy coatings cured with synthesized chemical compound and epoxy coatings cured with industrial curing agent was obtained.
