Application of the methods of chemical kinetics in the study of the restoration of iodoniitrotetrazolium chloride by bacterus bacteria cells Bacillus subtilis

Abstract

It was found that the reduction of iodonitrotetrazolium chloride by suspension in a physiological solution of Bacillus subtilis bacteria can be described by the equations of chemical kinetics. The activation parameters were determined and the role of diffusion of iodonitrotetrazolium chloride upon its reduction by bacteria was revealed.
Key words: kinetics, bacteria, iodonitrotetrazolium chloride, activation parameters, diffusion.
