HPLC determination of glyphosate, aminomethylphosphonic acid and glufosinate using a porous graphitized hypercarb sorbent

Abstract

A HPLC method for the determination of glyphosate, aminomethylphosphonic acid and glufosinate is proposed using a gradient separation of analytes on a porous graphitized carbon sorbent Hypercarb and an aqueous solution of ammonium formate / ammonia as a mobile phase. Analytes were detected using quadrupole and triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers. To increase the retention of the analytes, the chromatographic column was washed with water before injecting the sample solution. This method makes it possible to increase the retention coefficients of analytes by 3-4 times in comparison with the analogs described in the literature.
Key words: liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, porous graphitized carbon sorbent Hypercarb, glyphosate, glufosinate, aminomethylphosphonic acid.
