TRANSFORMATION OF CO2 IN TWO-PHASE SYSTEMS C8F18−H2O AND C6F6−H2O

Abstract

The transformation of carbon dioxide in water emulsions perftorana in the presence of oxygen leads to the formation of a mixture of oxalic acid and a minor set of organic matter of C4–C8. The maximum CO2 uptake occurs in the emulsion with a volume ratio of C8F18:H2O = 1:0,42 at a pH of 2.4; the output of H2C2O4 is 11% mol.
Key words: molecular oxygen, activation, CO2, oxalic acid, perfluorooctane, perfluorobenzene, emulsion, acidity.
