Electrochemical monitoring of biogenic microelements

Abstract

This paper reviews literary data on electrochemical monitoring of biogenic microelements in the natural and industrial subjects. Special attention is paid to questions of determination of traces of a number of the transition metals by stripping voltammetry after adsorption enrichment of these elements as dimethylglyoxime complexes on the surface of the working electrode. Analytical possibilities of the adsorption stripping voltammetry with use of mercury-based and mercury-less electrodes are compared.
Article is devoted to Vadim Mikhailovich Ivanov’s memory.
Key words: adsorption stripping voltammetry, mercury and mercury-less electrodes, biogenic microelements.
