Influences of glycol-chitosan on functional and structural properties of anionic liposomes

Abstract

In present paper it was demonstrated, that one could apply derivatives of chitosan, namely, glycol-chitosan, in order to produce liposomal containers for doxorubicin. Kdis of anionic liposomes–glycol-chitosan complexes were evaluated by FTIR as 3,5·10–4 M and 1·10–5 M, depending on the phase state of liposomes. Significant influence of complex formation on doxorubicin release was found.
