The Influence of Inert Component of the Eluent upon Inducing pH Gradient within the Capillars with Flowing Retentive Stationary Phase

Abstract

The influence of inert component (the strong electrolye such as NaCl) in the eluent on decreasing and increasing pH gradients, induced within the capillars with flowing retentive stationary phase, has been investigated. The adjustment of ionic strength in the single-component eluent allows to form the smoother, more linear pH gradients.
