A role of Mn2+ in the functioning of ligninolytic enzymes from trametes pubescens basidiomycete

Abstract

In this work a scheme of the interaction between ligninolytic enzymes (laccases, lignin peroxidase, and manganese peroxidase) from basidiomycete Trametes pubescens was suggested. A role of the enzymatic oxidation of bivalent manganese ions catalyzed by Trametes pubescens laccase in the presence of chelating agents (tartrate and oxalate) in the functioning of the enzymes of ligninolytic complex was shown.
