Application
of the Short-Lived Radionuclides 212Pb, 212Bi and 239Np
as Tracers of Chemical Yield in the Radiochemical Analysis of Natural Samples
Abstract
The
simple methods of extraction separation of short-lived 212Pb and 212Bi
from parent 232Th are described. These radionuclides could be
applied as tracers in 210Pb analysis. The possibility of application
of 239Np for radiochemical neutron-activation analysis of 237Np
is shown. The activity of short-lived tracer do not affect to radionuclide of
interest’s analysis.
