Stabilization of antibodies by complex formation with heparine in water-ethanol mixture

Abstract

Complex formation with polyelectrolyte has been suggested as an approach for antibodies stabilization against inactivation in water-organic media. It is established, that complex formation with polyelectrolyte leads the broadening of the range of organic solvent concentration where antibody retained their immunoreactivity. It creates the prerequisites for immunochemical assay carrying out in the media with high content of organic component. It has been found, that the main physical-chemical reason of antibodies stabilization in water-organic mixtures is maintenance of their native conformation as a result of multipoint interaction with polyelectrolyte.
