Fluorescence of LaO Molecules in a Flame under Two-Step Laser Excitation

Abstract

The Ionization and Two-step laser excitation has been used for the ionization and fluorescence of LaO molecules in natural gas - air flame. It has been shown that fluorescence from energy levels close to the ionization potential was not observed. The dependence of the ratio of ionization and fluorescence signals on detection area position in a flame has been studied.
