Indirect flow-injection atomic-absorption determination of nitrate in solutions using the reaction of indium oxidation

Abstract

Optimal conditions for flow-injection atomic absorption determination of nitrate in solutions using the reaction of indium oxidation had been found. The detection limit of nitrate of 3×10-6 M, relative standard deviation of 0,02 and sampling frequency of 120 per hour were achieved. There is no influence for the determination of 5×10-5 M nitrate in the presence of the following divisible amounts of ions (M): NH4+ - 1000; Na+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Cl- - 100; Ca2+, PO43-, EДTA - 10. The comparable (with nitrate) amounts of NO2-, Fe3+, Cu2+ were increased the results of nitrate determination.
