Heats of Adsorption of Tritium -containing Dihydrogens on the Crystalline Zeolite A External Surface

Abstract

GS adsorption radiochromatography was successfuly applied to measure, for the first time, the HT, DT and T2 adsorption heats on the crystalline zeolite A ( potassium form KA ) external surface . At the temperatures 77 - 70 K the measured adsorption heats are ( kJ/mole ): 8.5( HT ), 9.9( DT ), 10.7( T2 ) being about 15% lower than corresponding values for NaA volume (internal) adsorption. For KA the Henri region adsorption is reached at the sample tritium quantity lower than 170 femtomole.
